Sirius Aviation recently launched two hydrogen-powered VTOL aircraft: the CEO model and the Adventure variant. These jets were unveiled at the MOVE Expo in London on June 20, 2024, and are the world’s first of their kind, co-designed by BMW’s Designworks and Sauber Group.
Both models feature 28 ducted fans, reducing noise emissions. The CEO Jet is designed for point-to-point landings, carrying three passengers with a flight range of 1,150 miles and a top speed of 323 mph. On the other hand, the Adventure Jet is built for exploring remote areas, seating five passengers and a pilot, with a flight range of 650 miles at the same top speed.
The anticipated launch for these aircraft is set for 2025. The CEO Jet cabin boasts a luxurious design with leather-like materials, strip lighting, a large monitor, and expansive windows. The Adventure Jet, tailored for off-grid adventures, is expected to include emergency landing equipment for safety.
Sirius Aviation AG plans to start flights of these innovative aircraft in 2025. The company has also introduced the Sirius Business Jet for private travel and the Sirius Millennium Jet for commercial aviation, showcasing advancements in sustainable aviation technology.
