Nendo just launched a new version of its My Football Kit. It’s a cool ball that you put together yourself, no need to inflate it. Originally released in 2021 for communities in need, it’s back now in a limited ‘One for One’ edition. When you buy one, Nendo gives another to someone who could use it.
Nendo teamed up with Molten Corporation to make sure these kits get to places like children’s homes and special schools. The My Football Kit is black and white with Nendo’s logo, but the donated ones might have different colors and no logo.
This ball is inspired by a traditional Japanese bamboo ball and has 54 parts that mimic bamboo weaving. It bounces and rolls thanks to the material, so no air needed inside. It’s made from recycled materials and safe to play with barefoot.
The ball is tough and won’t fall apart easily. If a piece breaks, you can replace it to keep using the ball. It’s easy to maintain and lasts a long time. The kit includes 12 stabilizers, 12 panels, and 30 plates that you stack up for the right bounce. Nendo cares about the environment, using recycled materials for the ball, packaging, and manual. The My Football Kit costs about $84 and has already sold out.
