JetCycle, the renowned French sporting goods manufacturer, introduces its latest marvel – the E-JetCycle, a groundbreaking electric paddle boat designed for water sports enthusiasts. Boasting two carbon-fiber hydrofoils and a trimaran hull, this eco-friendly watercraft offers a stable and secure cruising experience above the sea or lake.
Making its debut at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, the E-JetCycle is now set to grace the international stage at Boot Düsseldorf, from January 20th to 28th, 2024, located at Hall 3 – Stand E26. Attendees of this event have the exclusive opportunity to explore the paddle boat’s innovative design and electric assistance features before embarking on a firsthand experience on the water.
Even for those less inclined towards water sports, the E-JetCycle provides a unique opportunity to effortlessly glide above the water, offering a serene way to enjoy the surrounding scenery. JetCycle emphasizes that their latest creation comes equipped with electric assistance, minimizing the need for strenuous paddling efforts. The electric paddle boat features a durable battery with a remarkable three-hour autonomy, ensuring an extended and enjoyable ride. The trimaran hull and attached hydrofoils contribute to the vessel’s stability, delivering a smooth cruising experience reminiscent of cycling on water.
JetCycle’s electric paddle boat is not only about functionality but also incorporates user-friendly features. A steering handle and incidence lever allow riders to control the watercraft and adjust its flight altitude. The two floats on the sides, coupled with foils, enhance stability during both waterborne and airborne phases. The adjustable pedal system ensures a comfortable fit for riders of varying sizes, enhancing ease and enjoyment during the above-water journey.
Positioned as an environmentally friendly option, the E-JetCycle, made in France, produces no noise or emissions, thanks to its electric motor. To ensure a secure and comfortable ride, JetCycle has opted for a nautical leather bucket seat with premium pads and non-slip surfaces, preventing any unwanted slipping during the flight and ride.
Prior to the E-JetCycle, JetCycle introduced the JetCycle MAX, a pedal-powered boat with foils capable of reaching speeds up to 20 km/h. In this version, a 100 percent manual transmission is employed, transferring the rider’s pedaling effort to the propeller through a drivetrain inside the keel. The patented propulsion, featuring a variable pitch propeller developed at USMB, ensures high efficiency across the system’s speed range.
