Making money on YouTube is a goal for many content creators, but tracking your earnings can be confusing if you’re new to the platform. Whether you’re monetized through the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) or other revenue streams, here’s how to check how much money you’re making on YouTube.

      1. Check Your YouTube Studio Dashboard

YouTube provides detailed analytics through YouTube Studio, where you can track your estimated revenue.

      Steps to View Earnings:

      1. Sign in to your YouTube account.

      2. Click on your profile icon (top-right corner) and select YouTube Studio.

      3. In the left sidebar, click on Analytics.

      4. Navigate to the Revenue tab.

      Here, you’ll see:

      • Estimated revenue (from ads, YouTube Premium, Super Chats, etc.)

      • Monthly earnings breakdown

      • Revenue sources (Ads, Memberships, Super Thanks, etc.)

      2. Check Google AdSense (For Ad Revenue)

If you’re part of the YouTube Partner Program (YPP), your ad revenue is paid out through Google AdSense.

      How to View AdSense Earnings:

      1. Go to Google AdSense.

      2. Log in with the same Google account linked to your YouTube channel.

      3. Check the Payments or Earnings section to see your balance.

Note: YouTube updates estimated earnings in AdSense with a 1-2 day delay, so your most recent earnings may not appear immediately.

      3. Track YouTube Premium & Channel Memberships

If viewers watch your content via YouTube Premium or join your channel memberships, you earn a share of that revenue.

      • Go to YouTube Studio > Analytics > Revenue

      • Scroll down to see YouTube Premium revenue and Memberships contributions.

      4. Super Chats, Super Stickers & Super Thanks

If you enable Super Chats (during live streams) or Super Thanks (on regular videos), you can track those earnings separately:

      • In YouTube Studio > Analytics > Revenue, check the Super Chat & Super Thanks section.

      5. Third-Party Tools (For Estimation)

If you’re not yet monetized but want to estimate potential earnings, tools like:

These provide rough estimates based on views and engagement, but they are not exact—only YouTube Studio and AdSense show real earnings.

      6. Understand YouTube’s Payment Schedule

YouTube pays creators once per month, but only if you meet the $100 threshold in AdSense.

      • Payouts typically occur between the 21st and 26th of each month.

      • You can check pending payments in AdSense > Payments.

      Tips

      • Wait 48 hours for earnings data to update in YouTube Studio.

      • Enable all monetization features (Memberships, Super Chats, etc.) to maximize income.

      • Track trends in YouTube Analytics to optimize your content strategy.
