HMD Skyline: A Nostalgic Nod to Nokia with Modern Flair

There is huge anticipation for HMD Global’s latest venture under the Nokia brand. The upcoming phone, initially codenamed Tomcat and now seemingly confirmed as the HMD Skyline, is stirring excitement with its promising features and competitive price range. Expected to launch in July, the Skyline aims to be a mid-range marvel with high-end capabilities. Leaks hint at a €520 ($565 USD) price tag, setting it a notch above HMD’s recent releases. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the Skyline promises impressive performance, but it’s the design that’s catching eyes—a striking throwback to Nokia’s Lumia era, with its sharp corners and vibrant colors.

The Skyline’s display is poised to be a standout feature, rumored to be a FHD+ OLED touchscreen with a silky 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s likely powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, ensuring smooth performance for daily tasks and light gaming. The Skyline is rumored to come in four vibrant colors—pink, blue, green, and yellow. Priced under $600 and boasting impressive specs, the Skyline is set to appeal to both nostalgia enthusiasts and tech aficionados alike.
