FiiO Revives Mixtape Era with CP13 Cassette Player

FiiO brought back mixtape charm with the CP13, an analog rechargeable cassette player without modern features like recording and auto-reverse. The CP13 has a fully analog audio circuit with a magnetic tape head and signal amplifier in an aluminum chassis. It includes an aluminum volume knob and buttons for play, pause, stop, fast-forward, and rewind for that retro vibe.

The CP13 has a long battery life, providing 13 hours of playtime and up to 268 days of standby time. It charges via USB-C, allowing music playback while charging. The player runs on a 1,800 mAh lithium-ion cobalt oxide battery, with a custom oversized pure copper flywheel for smooth tape movement and high-quality sound.

Durability is a highlight, with hard-oxidized buttons and a large analog volume knob for stable audio. The CP13’s high-voltage 4.2V power supply and motor speed stabilization circuit prevent pitch changes during playback.
