Acemagic Unveils World’s First 360° Foldable Dual-Screen Laptop

Dual-screen laptops are still rare, but that doesn’t stop manufacturers from innovating. Acemagic, a Chinese company, is known for its unique devices and has now introduced the X1, claimed to be the world’s first horizontally foldable 360-degree laptop.

Initially revealed as the Z1A at Computex 2024 in Taiwan, the device is now officially named the X1. It’s designed for multitasking, ideal for those who handle multiple tasks simultaneously, like using a separate monitor and laptop.

The Acemagic X1 boasts two 14-inch 1080p displays, with one screen horizontally attached and capable of rotating 360 degrees. This setup allows users to fold the screens over the keyboard, transforming it into a tablet with a single screen. The X1 targets business and productivity users, offering various configurations to suit different needs.

In meetings, the second screen can be turned to show slides to colleagues. At home, it can entertain kids with cartoons while you work. Despite its versatility, the X1 isn’t the most powerful laptop available, running on an Intel Core i7 1255U processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. It includes USB-A, two USB-C ports (one for charging), and an HDMI 2.0 port for fast data transfer. While its unique design is likely to attract attention, details on pricing and release are still unknown.
