Boasting a swift construction time of just 18 hours, this innovative dwelling is set to redefine the norms of housing. Spanning 80 square meters, this two-bedroom residence, currently without a formal name, is brought to life through the precision of COBOD’s BOD2 printer under the creative guidance of Havelar’s design team.

With a construction cost of €1,500 per square meter, significantly lower than the Porto average of €3,104, this pioneering project underscores the cost-effectiveness of 3D-printed housing. The rapid construction pace facilitated by the 3D printer, which meticulously layers a cement-like mixture to form the structure, contributes to this economic advantage. Following the printing process, skilled builders add finishing touches such as doors, windows, roofing, and other essential amenities, culminating in the completion of the home within a mere two months.
