Just like it’s better to prevent than to cure, warming up and recovering before and after a tough workout or competition is crucial. Nike has long been known for its comfortable footwear for athletes. Now, they are teaming up with Hyperice to support athletes during their warm-up and recovery.
In partnership with Hyperice, Nike is creating boots and a vest to help athletes perform their best during training and competition. The boots use heat and air compression to mimic a foot massage, preparing the body for exercise and relaxing the feet afterward.
The vest includes thermal modules and pressure sensors to manage a player’s body temperature effectively. Both products are still in development and will be released at a later date.
The high-top boots feature innovative technology like air Normatec bladders and warming elements to distribute heat evenly for comfort. While targeted at athletes, this technology could also benefit those who stand or walk a lot for work.
LeBron James, who has tested the products, is excited about their potential to improve athletes’ warm-up and recovery. The boots allow users to customize the heat and air compression settings with a push of a button on the control panel in the midsole, offering flexibility for individual needs.
