Enthralled by Radhika Dhumal’s beetle-inspired table? Then prepare to be charmed by this moose-shaped multifunctional cabinet. This delightful creation, courtesy of Priyam Doshi, won the A’ Design Award last year and promises to inject a dose of whimsy into your home decor while providing practical storage solutions.

The cabinet, handcrafted from Oakwood and finished with a water-based matte polish, takes on the rough silhouette of a moose, complete with broad legs, a square face, and horns that double up as jewelry hangers.

The Moose cabinet boasts four distinct storage areas – the two legs, the body, and the face. The legs provide open storage for statement pieces and other keepsakes, while the body and face come with doors to store items you’d prefer to keep hidden – perhaps your jewelry or your prized liquor collection. And yes, the handle on the face door is indeed the moose’s eye!

The surface above the moose is equipped with a variety of trays to hold everything from watches and loose change to your AirPods, wallet, and everyday carry. The moose’s tail features a built-in mirror, adding a quirky touch, while the horns serve as ideal hangers for small purses, keys, or even a hat.

Priyam Doshi, the designer, explains, “The inspiration was to add fun to the boring mundane lifestyles and objects around you. The Moose Cabinet is a handcrafted statement piece inspired by the animal, Moose and is designed to be a FUNctional piece – FUN yet highly functional. Also in today’s times, with people’s lifestyles becoming more demanding & people looking at efficient uses of living spaces there is a need to have multifunctionality in the new products we are designing. So Plug and play accessories were added for the users.”
