      Karbikes, created by Christopher Santerre with Gaëlle Richard and Lucas Vançon, is set to revolutionize emission-free commuting. It combines features of a cargo bike and an electric micro-city car to meet transportation needs in various settings.

      Karbikes focuses on sustainability, comfort, and efficiency by blending the lightness of bicycles with the comfort of cars. Its four-wheel design, with a sturdy steel frame and a lightweight aluminum shell, provides protection from the elements. It can comfortably seat two adults or one adult with two children.

      With a width of 800mm and a top speed of 25km/h, Karbikes offers a practical urban commuting solution. Co-founders Gaëlle Richard and Lucas Vançon, both engineers, have equipped it with an electrically assisted pedaling system, automatic gears, and a 750Wh battery for a smooth ride. The spacious trunk can carry up to 400 liters or 150 kilograms.

      Based in Strasbourg, a city known for its cycling infrastructure, Karbikes plans to locally produce its initial batch of ten units by the year’s end, with future plans to increase production to hundreds of units annually.
