When Ferrari released a fleet of their latest 12Cilindri grand tourers in Miami’s South Beach, everyone was amazed. These cars embody the essence of Ferrari – speed and Italian style.
This special debut in Miami was a nod to Ferrari’s 70-year relationship with American roads. Designed by Flavio Manzoni and his team in Maranello, the 12Cilindri is a bold creation. Manzoni anticipated mixed reactions but is confident it will be appreciated in the long run.
“It was time for something new, which can be challenging for some,” says Manzoni.
From its sleek design to its bold features, the 12Cilindri pays tribute to classics like the Ferrari Daytona GT while adding a modern touch.
Beyond its appearance, the 12Cilindri boasts a powerful V12 engine, ready to make its mark in automotive history. Its elegant lines and strong build evoke the image of a powerful stallion.
The rear of the car is a departure from tradition, with a futuristic window reminiscent of sci-fi movies. Ferrari draws inspiration from films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, aiming to capture the spirit of 1960s and 1970s design.
For most, the 12Cilindri will remain a dream. But for those willing to spend, expect to pay around $425,000 for the coupe or nearly $470,000 for the Spider. This price tag not only gets you a car but a piece of automotive history for those who dream on wheels.
