In a captivating collaboration, the renowned Spanish architecture studio Arquitectura-G has partnered with the eyewear brand KALEOS to extend its architectural philosophy into eyewear design. This union of two distinct visions has resulted in a captivating capsule collection that seamlessly blends timeless elegance with modern technological standards.

Pursuing the Platonic Archetype

The design process behind this collaboration involved a simplification of the frame’s geometry, aiming to pursue a platonic archetype for eyeglasses. The initial concept focused on creating glasses that embody a timeless, elemental aesthetic, reminiscent of the first glasses designed in the thirteenth century, yet adapted to meet the demands of contemporary wearers.

Crafted from Titanium

The resulting capsule collection consists of five frames, all crafted entirely from titanium, a material renowned for its durability and lightweight properties. Handcrafted in Japan, each frame features an elastic tube for adjustment, ensuring a comfortable fit for wearers of all head sizes.

Bridging Architecture and Eyewear

While Arquitectura-G had prior experience in designing small-scale artifacts, venturing into the creation of eyewear presented a unique challenge.
