Smart glasses are becoming popular for everyday style, especially when compared to bulky AR headsets. These devices blend technology seamlessly into compact frames without sacrificing weight or looks.
This trend is growing, with big brands like Ray-Ban Meta and OPPO joining the market. OPPO’s Air Glass 3, launched this year, and Solos’ latest innovation, the AirGo Vision, are leading the way. The AirGo Vision is the upgraded version of the AirGo 3, now featuring OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o. These smart glasses work with Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude models, allowing hands-free operation through voice commands. They offer real-time help with tasks like language translation and city navigation using advanced generative AI.
Users can take hands-free photos and access information instantly. Solos offers the option to switch the main frame for one without a front camera, discreetly placing the camera lens in the arms for formal settings. LED indicators on the frame notify wearers of important messages or calls.
Solos has not yet revealed the release date or pricing, but these high-tech wearables are expected to cost over $250.
