The soaring popularity of electric vehicles has fueled a surge in demand for charging stations, with options ranging from home garage units to public networks. However, as the ultra-wealthy embrace emission-free motoring, a niche market has emerged for portable chargers tailored to the owners of high-performance electric supercars.

Dubbed the Envera, this sleek and sculptural device takes design cues from Koenigsegg’s Agera model, boasting aerodynamic lines and exotic materials like aerospace-grade alloys and carbon fiber. Its dihedral synchro-helix doors are a nod to the brand’s innovative spirit, which has given rise to technical marvels like the Direct Drive transmission and Freevalve engine technology.

But the Envera is more than just a style statement. Capable of supplying 7.2 kW of power and compatible with voltage ranging from 100 to 400 volts AC, it supports Level 2 charging and is equipped with Type 1 and Type 2 AC ports, as well as an optional DC rapid charging adaptor. Safety features include overcurrent, overvoltage, short-circuit and ground fault protection, along with an automated shutdown in case of overheating.

The IP65-rated shell offers premium protection against the elements, allowing operation in temperatures from -20°C to 50°C, while a 20-foot flexible charging cable ensures convenience. An LCD display provides real-time charging status and diagnostics.

While the Envera is tailored for Koenigsegg’s electric hypercars, its versatility means it can charge any other brand’s electric vehicle, positioning it as a luxurious yet practical solution for the discerning EV enthusiast.
